The Swan is a masterpiece of comedy: witty, brilliant, bright and ironic. Beatrix, the head of a dethroned aristocratic family, aims to regain the old glory and power of the family, at any price. Her only chance to succeed is her daughter: Alexandra. She could become the wife of the crown prince of the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy.
