Drama and improvisation workshop for adults on weekend afternoons.
Everyone can act. Play is fun, recharging, a social experience, communication training.
What is given: a theme, a theatre space, 120 minutes and 20 adults. And, of course, a series of games that move, make you think and entertain you.
Our offer
Sylvia Plath’s novel The Bell Jar is a much-analysed and much-quoted cult classic of the 20th century. In part, the story, inspired by her own life, exposes with brutal honesty the stages of becoming a woman. Yet, it is also a rendering of the transitional period from adolescence to adulthood that is filled with insecurity, an expression of inner fears and a search for self-identity of elemental power.

Within the game, at least, control is a given. You have an impact on its world. Other people escape into it. Don’t say that’s not what you are doing too! Well, I see. You create characters on FB and Insta, you post about solidarity and taking vacations with the dog, and you break into a sweat when people don’t like your event. The events experienced by your online avatar. The only difference is that I, unlike you, know that the character in the video game is not me. And right there in the City Park, I thought, “But what if it is?”
Krasznahorkai László regényében a fiktív keletnémet kisváros, Kana unalmas-békés hétköznapjait nyugtalanító események zavarják meg: a híres Bach-emlékműveken graffitik jelennek meg, egy elismert fizikaprofesszor rejtélyes módon eltűnik, száz év után ismét farkasok jelennek meg a türingiai erdőkben. A könyv főhőse, Florian Herscht, a falmosó úgy dönt, levélben kér segítséget Angela Merkeltől. Gondolataiban a mindennapi élet apró eseményei összekeverednek a világvégéről szóló metafizikai kérdésekkel, és ahogy a városban működő neonáci csoport egyre radikálisabban lép fel, Herscht világa is kezd darabokra hullani.
